Department of Electrical Engineering

Industrial visit of “SCOPE TELECOM PVT. LTD., CHANDIGARH” which was organized by training and placement cell of RPIIT Campus on 27.3.18. The main motive of this industrial visit was to enhance the technical as well as practical knowledge of the students. Total thirty three (33) students (19 students from 4^th year & 14 students from 3^rd year) were visited above said Industry along with two (02) faculty members from the Department of Electrical Engineering.

Industrial visit of “TIGHTWELL FORGINGS LIMITED, SAMALKHA (HARYANA)” which was organized by training and placement cell of RPIIT Campus on 30^th September 2019. The main motive of this industrial visit was to enhance the technical as well as practical knowledge of the students. Total Eighteen (17) students, 12 students from 4^th year, 5 students from 3^rd year and 1 student from 2^nd year were visited above said Industry along with four (03) faculty members.

Activity Name: Awareness on Corona Virus

Summary of Social work:

On December 31, 2019 the first case of new Corona virus has been reported in Wuhan, China. Over the span of one month it has spread around the world. On January 30, 2020, WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION (WHO) has declared the Corona virus outbreak as an international emergency. To spread a word about the corona virus and the protective measures one can apply, the RPIIT Campus today organized an awareness campaign.

Eight students of the Engineering Department along with the students of Management Department today organised an awareness campaign at Pakka pul, Madhuban. They interacted with the people and told them about the symptoms to look for and the preventive measures they can take in order to reduce the risk of getting infected.
