About Laboratories (ECM)

LABORATORIES

Electronic Devices Laboratory

The lab is used to train the students to implement the basic analog circuits (as a hardware using electronic components) and make experiments to get familiar with the characteristics of electronic components, test the circuit performance and the techniques of making hardware circuits.

Digital Electronics Laboratory

This Lab familiarizes the students with the concepts of digital electronics practically and train them to design combinational and sequential logic circuits

Signals and Systems Laboratory

This course develops an understanding to describe signals mathematically and to perform mathematical operations on signals and helps students to understand the system properties such as linearity, time invariance, with or without memory, causality, and bounded-input bounded-output stability.

Communication Laboratory

The communication Systems Laboratory intends to cover the basic understanding of functionalities of various block-sets involved in communication system. It involves system design and simulation exercises using MATLAB and Simulink and experiments based on HW boards.

Analog Circuit Laboratory

A signal which is having different values at different instants of time is referred to as an analog signal. These designed circuits are tested and verified for their performance under the laboratory conditions using power sources like DC Power supply, AC sources like function generators.

Microprocessors and Microcontrollers Laboratory

This course makes the students to understand and gain knowledge about experiments with Microprocessor and Microcontrollers kits and Software as per the industry requirements.

Antenna & Wave Propagation Laboratory

In the antenna and wave propagation lab students study the variation of field strength of radiated wave with distance from transmitting antenna.

This lab is equipped with antenna measurement system (WL-AMS-A) to study the radiation pattern in azimuth and elevation plane.

Digital Communication Laboratory

Digital communication has a modulator and demodulator in the same way as in analog communication. The modulator produces an analog signal that is based on the digital data to be transmitted. The demodulator receives the transmitted signal and constructs an estimate of these digital data.

Digital Image Processing Laboratory

In this course we will investigate the creation and manipulation of digital images by computer. The course will consist of theoretical material introducing the mathematics of images and imaging, as well as computer laboratory exercises designed to introduce methods of real-world data manipulation.

Project-I

In this lab students use their basic knowledge to design a small circuit having real time utility.

Microwave Engineering Laboratory

Microwave engineering pertains to the study and design of microwave circuits, components, and systems. Some theories and devices that pertain to this field are antennas, radar, transmission lines, space based systems (remote sensing), measurements, microwave radiation hazards and safety measures.

Wireless & Mobile Communication Laboratory

Wireless Communication teaches students how to design, test, and simulate wireless systems using modern instrumentation and computer-aided design (CAD) software. The course also aims at increasing the interest of students in engineering and technology.
